Founder & Operations Manager

Zack Zulkiewicz

Zack’s work in sober living grew from his own experience with addiction and recovery. After moving from Connecticut to Los Angeles in 2015, he became active in the local sober community, worked at a rehabilitation center, and went on to help build sober living homes across Los Angeles. At Citronia, he brings an operations focus together with a 12-step perspective and holistic, active-lifestyle practices to support residents as they build stability, confidence, and a new sense of self.
Founder & CFO

Bill S.

Citronia grew in part from Bill and Zack’s relationship as stepfather and stepson. Bill supported Zack through a difficult chapter, and their family’s experience with addiction shaped a shared desire to help other residents and families. A CPA by profession, Bill partnered with Zack in 2017 to turn that idea into Citronia. He provides the financial stewardship and steady behind-the-scenes support that help the home run with care.
Program Manager

Chris

Chris brings both professional recovery experience and a deeply personal understanding of the work. As a sober living house manager and recovery professional, he draws on more than 35 years of lived experience with addiction and celebrates a sobriety date of January 11, 2023. His approach centers empathy, accountability, supportive community, and practical guidance for the day-to-day work of recovery.
Certified Service Dog

Max

Born in June 2016, Max was trained as a certified service animal and has become a warm, energetic presence around Citronia. His friendly nature offers an easy point of connection and is known to bring a smile to residents and visitors alike.
