Residents keep the home substance-free, respect one another and share household responsibilities.

Recovery and house meetingsResidents must attend two 12-step or other recovery-based meetings each week, plus the Sunday house meeting.
Screening and curfewUrinalysis (UA) is twice a week. Curfew is 11 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. House meetings take place on Sunday afternoons; confirm the exact time with staff.
Shared household responsibilitiesEach resident has a daily chore and is expected to keep their bedroom and common areas clean.

Rooms, essentials and costs.

Who the home supports

Citronia supports adult men and women continuing recovery in a substance-free shared home. Couples are welcome and may share a bedroom. Otherwise, men and women stay in separate rooms. Talk with staff about your situation and whether the home is a fit.

Included essentials

Cable TV, Wi-Fi, and streaming services are available, along with shared living, dining, and kitchen spaces.

Laundry, towels, full bedding and household essentials are included, such as toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies.

Outside care, when needed

Citronia provides housing. With permission, staff can help arrange introductions and transitions to independent treatment providers. Those providers assess care needs and control treatment and admission.

Rooms and availability

Bedrooms accommodate two residents. Ask staff which rooms are available and how they are shared before making plans.

Bring clothing, personal toiletries, and your everyday essentials. Full bedding is provided; you’re welcome to bring any additional bedding you prefer.

Costs, payment, and expectations

Ask staff for current housing rates. Staff confirm cash-pay rates, possible individual housing assistance and remaining housing costs. Independent treatment costs and insurance decisions are separate.

Food is not provided. Residents can use the shared kitchen.

Tours and transportation

Tours are arranged on request and scheduled directly with Citronia staff. Transportation to important appointments and commitments can be arranged on request, including doctor visits, appointments with an independent intensive outpatient (IOP) provider, and job interviews. Discuss timing and needs with staff in advance.

Private insurance and housing assistance

Residents with private insurance who attend an appropriate independent outpatient or intensive outpatient program (IOP) may be considered for individual housing assistance. Assistance is not guaranteed, and Citronia does not bill insurance for housing. Staff confirm assistance and remaining housing costs; the provider and insurer verify treatment benefits.
